Everyone is welcome at Mid Herts Golf Club so please come along to our Open Days.

We are delighted to announce our 2026 Open Days. If you're interested in either getting into golf or playing our course for the first time, then please come down to the club on either Friday 20th or Saturday 21st March 2026 between 1.00pm & 4.00pm.

Interested in learning to play golf?

Come and hear about our Pathway and Junior Programmes.  The Pathway is open to men and women interested in taking up the game. The Junior Programme is aimed at children aged 6-16 years who would also like to learn.  Both programmes provide individual and group coaching plus the opportunity to get out on the golf course in a safe environment.

On both days in March, we will be running short golf “tune up” sessions with our PGA Professionals so you can check how your swing is as we head into a new golfing season. These sessions can be booked in advance to avoid disappointment.

Interested in joining a new club?

Come and take a look at Mid Herts Golf Club, have a tour of the facilities with a current member and play 9 holes for free after 1pm on either day, with friends or with one of our members if you’d like some local knowledge! Our course offers a classic heathland terrain with rippled fairways, fescue grasses and quality greens that are protected with traditional grassy hollows.

We are an active and welcoming club with plenty of opportunities to play friendly or competitive golf as well as a growing social programme so it's very easy to integrate and start to meet fellow golfers. We are ideally placed, nestled into the Hertfordshire Countryside, to enjoy each and every time you step foot on the course.

We also have other activities for you to try on the day:

- FREE nearest the pin competition in our simulator studio with prizes.

- FREE putting competition with prizes.

*To book your free tune up session or register your interest in coming along to play, please call the Pro-Shop in advance (01582 832242 Opt 1), as there a limited number of time slots available for the sessions. Any time slots left on the day are allocated strictly on a first-come, first-served basis only.
