Mid Herts is home to a strong ladies' section who are always looking for new members.

If you’re already a golfer and are looking to join a new club, or return after a break, we’d love to see you!  Why not join us for a coffee, a chat and a few holes.

If you are new to golf or just a bit rusty and not quite ready to join a club you may be interested in joining our "LADIES' ACADEMY" which is a 3 Stage programme. You can join at Stage 1 for complete beginners or for the slightly more experienced start at Stage 2. It is a mixture of small group sessions and individual lessons as well as the chance to meet and play a few holes with our Lady members. We would love to welcome you and you can see more here.

We’re a friendly club offering both social and competitive golf. Tuesday is our main competition day when ladies meet between 8.30 am and 9:30 am to play. There is golf to suit all abilities and you can chose to play 9 or 18 holes. Our unique starting arrangements mean that we all come in around the same time and enjoy a sociable lunch.

On Thursday mornings the ladies organise a 'roll-up' which means you can just turn up at 9.00 am if you fancy a game. Thursday's games are usually team events and are very relaxed.

Our Business Ladies play on Saturday mornings enjoying both competitive and fun competitions.

As well as the home games and competitions, the ladies arrange many away fixtures - both friendly and competitive, giving you the opportunity to play other courses. We have two teams in the Ladies Ovaltine (Scratch) League and also a team in the Pearson League. Each year there is also an opportunity to go on 'Away Days' and 'Away Weekends'.

Our course is a beautiful heathland course, with flat, easy walking and a short distance between holes. Nonetheless it is a challenge for golfers of all abilities, where accuracy and strategy are needed!

The club offers a regular programme of social activities, such as bridge, quiz nights, themed events and comedy nights. If you’re on your own, it’s a great way to meet and make friends with other ladies.
